I've got a hunger, and it's twisting my stomach into knots.

Today I was veggie catching and I was thinking about all the plants that challenge the hunter. Spikeys and spikeys and spikeys galore. Yikes.

People are living like that too. Too many people wearing invisible armor...

We all need a nice animal to talk to sometimes.

Life on the farm hasn't killed me yet. But it's only been a week, so we will see. The days are long, but good. I like working outdoors. I like my dirty fingernails? No joke though because they are, and I do. There's something about being filthy at the end of the day that I enjoy.

It's hard/way too easy being somewhere new. The people are great but there's so much I need to learn. I hate feeling lost and having to be someone else's duckling.

I am listening to the Kamikaze Hearts. And feeling sentimental. You can probably tell because I am blogging.

Today I got a letter from Carol with a picture of Dorothea. It was beautiful. I need to send more snail mail and remind more people that I love them.

Speaking of love, one of the cats on the farm is my new bff. When i'm out in the field he comes to visit and is very kind.

There is also a dog who is NOT very kind. But the dogs owners are very kind so I guess it all balances out.

I am an inconsistent blogger.

Well my AmeriCorps experience is over. That year flew by.

I meant to blog about it often, but i didn't. I will say that it was not always rainbows and butterflies but overall it was a stupendous year and i miss the a-holes i came to love so dearly. (get it? A-Hole!)

ANYWAYS, now i'm on a farm. It's going to kill me i'm sure.
